On the journey of exploration.

I gaze in silence for sophisticated abstract artworks,

I hold my breath for hyper-realistic digital drawings,

I smile for elegant water color art,

I feel the floatation for emotional ink paintings...

My name is Kimberly, Chinese name "Shou-ming", hence I go by the nickname SKimmy. I was born in North Carolina, USA and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. At the age of 13, I moved to Canada; by the year of 2015 I earned my degree in Fine Art and Art History at the University of Toronto. I then said good bye to this beloved city. With my luggages, I came all the way down to the land of sunshine - San Francisco.

Many things fascinate me through my life, they seem varied and unconnected. But I know, oh yes, I know by heart that they are all related to beauty. Whether it is abstraction, CG artworks, water color, oil paint, ink drawings or whichever art form it is, I sense the beautifulness in them. With my background of growing up in different and multi-cultural envirionment, there are no boundaries between Eastern and Western societies. To me, this world is diversed but unified. The world is in an amazingly harmonious balance.
